Blasius NGOME is the brain behind the creation of SONARA NEWS which came into existence in 1989. Since then, he has served as Editor-in-chief of this quarterly information bulletin of the National Refining Company Ltd, SONARA, Which has for that period had a comfortable position on magazine stands across the world. It takes credit for being the first ever bilingual magazine. The magazine also takes pride for;
- Not having ever witnessed a publication break;
- Having gone through some sound improvement over the years ;
- Having brought together almost every member of staff
- Having served as a veritable platform for fostering the spirit of corporate culture.
Today, the magazine which is proud to possess a historical memory of SONARA, has had the following General Managers as publishers:
- Bernard Eding : from 1989 to 2002
- Charles Metouck from 2002 to 2013
- Ibrahim Talba MALLA since 2013.
